Jack, Bear, and Jonathan are three passionate car enthusiasts who share a common dream: to create a Driver’s Universe—a place where every driver, from weekend cruisers to hardcore racers, can fully embrace the freedom, passion, and thrill that cars bring to our lives.

In 2024, they founded JJAX Performance in Seattle, Washington, with the goal of delivering state-of-the-art performance parts, meticulously designed interior modifications, and motorsport-inspired lifestyle products to the car enthusiast community. But their vision extends far beyond just selling products. They want to build a complete ecosystem for drivers—a place where cars are more than just machines.

What is the Driver’s Universe?

For the founders of JJAX Performance, cars are not just modes of transportation. They represent freedom, adventure, and personal expression. Whether it’s the feeling of a perfectly executed corner on the track, a spirited drive through winding mountain roads, or the satisfaction of customizing a car to reflect one’s own style—the Driver’s Universe is a world where every car enthusiast can find their place.

JJAX Performance aims to build this universe by integrating three key pillars:

• Lifestyle & Community – More than just a brand, JJAX Performance is cultivating a motorsports-inspired lifestyle, offering products and experiences that allow enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the car culture they love.

Meet the Founders

Jack – The Collector and Racer

Jack is a dedicated car collector, enthusiast, and race car driver. To him, a car is more than just a machine—it’s a companion, much like a trusted horse or loyal dog, ready to embark on adventures, celebrate life’s highs, and endure its lows. A track addict, he takes almost all his cars to the circuit—except for his Defender. His favorite car? The Lotus Emira in the 3.5L Supercharged V6, manual transmission configuration.

Bear – The Entrepreneur and Time Attack Driver

Bear is a real estate investor, entrepreneur, and seasoned time attack competitor. When he’s not working, he’s driving—whether it’s on the track or en route to one. He’s been known to casually drive coast to coast just for a track weekend or a time attack event. If you ever see a Cayenne towing a Lizard Green GT3 RS on the interstate, there’s a good chance it’s him.

Jonathan – The Engineer and Aero Specialist

Jonathan is an aeronautical engineer turned motorsport aerodynamics expert—and, of course, a track addict. Before founding JJAX, he spent his career designing aircraft to generate lift. Now, at JJAX Performance, his focus has flipped: he’s dedicated to creating downforce for cars. Specializing in CFD, fluid dynamics, FEA, and other advanced engineering disciplines, Jonathan leads JJAX’s engineering division. A devoted JDM enthusiast, his favorite car is his GR86 Hakone Edition.

What’s Next?

This year, JJAX Performance will be launching new performance products for a variety of high-performance cars, including the Lotus Emira and Ariel Atom. But that’s just the beginning. The vision for the Driver’s Universe is constantly evolving—with new events, new products, and new ways to bring car enthusiasts together.
